Whether it’s a classic design or a bold elaborate finish, use the pattern as a foundation to create a unique decoration of your own!
Get ready to scroll some spirals and add some dimension to your tree this Christmas with our next instalment. We have put together a pattern that will test your scrolling abilities by encouraging you to follow the line perfectly. Use the pattern to keep practising your technique to create either two individual decorations, or combine the two to create one eye-catching addition to your tree!
It’s time to put your designs together with our final addition to the scroll saw series. With this next instalment, you’ll be able to combine all of the patterns in the series to create and compose a charming, Christmas mobile. Use the armature pattern to attach your previous designs to and create some fun, festive fillers using the star patterns. Be inspired to make a decorative mobile not just for Christmas but for all year round.
Use the spiral and star patterns to shape your very own solar system!
There are many materials you’re able to use when scroll sawing. For our decorations, we decided to use 4mm Birchwood ply and beech wood. To finish our designs we used acrylic paint, sprayed enamel paint and pyrography.
