Woodturning Jaws Explained

Join us in-store as we explore one of the key woodturning accessories that sometimes get overlooked - the jaws. Axminster Tools & Machinery manufacture a range of high precision jaws compatible with our 'Evolution' series chucks - all designed and machined at our manufacturing facilities in Devon. These proudly UK made jaws present the aspiring woodturner with the means to hold and turn wood for the best possible creative results.

During this session, we'll discuss and demonstrate a variety of popular jaws including Pen, Button, Dovetail and Expanding Pin Chuck jaws and show the typical project applications of each. Whether you're interested in turning wide diameter pieces such as bowls and platters or finer pieces such as goblets and pens, we'll have just the jaw to suit your needs!
