This is a FREE event with no tricks, so it’ll just be a treat! Our in-store expert Ruby will be producing a wide variety of pens on the AT1628 trade lathe using the Evolution Series Compression Pen Mandrel. Ruby’s demonstration will give you practical tips as well as helpful hints – so come along anytime throughout the day, whether you are just getting started or want help to improve your skills.

Using the Antex Fire Writer Pyrography Kit our in-store Pyrography specialist, Mark Bloomfield, will show you how to creatively decorate your Christmas craft items. Mark will cover hints and tips on how to get the best out of the unit as well as demonstrating woodburning techniques to give that special personal finish to all your projects.

Using simple tools and materials, our store experts will provide a step-by-step guide to making a Christmas Tree Mobile. The weather is turning, maybe we should all join in? As the colder days drive us into the shelter of our workshops, now is an ideal time to start those project ideas or even take up a new craft. To support your indoor efforts we’ll be introducing you to many exciting products featured within our new catalogue – which is now in store!
We are well and truly settled into the new store and have laid out a range of ‘try before you buy’ stations from pyrography to Japanese hand tools, as well as UJK router jig, Tormek sharpening and woodturning. If there are any other tools you would like to get hands on with then please let us know!
